Doors and windows by McKay Joinery (est. 1948).
McKay Joinery became part of the Charles Sandford business in 2015, but their tried and tested approach to manufacturing the highest quality custom timber doors and windows remains unchanged. Ian McKay manages production with the same unswerving attention to detail that his father and uncles established in 1948.
Our two businesses now operate under the same roof, with services integrated into a single offering, so we can deliver a seamless experience across the different aspects of any building project.
The photograph above, by Tatjana Plitt, shows the Rathmines House designed by MRTN Architects. This alteration and addition to the rear of a weatherboard bungalow features fixed and operable windows, and bifold doors, manufactured by McKay Joinery in quarter-sawn Victorian ash timber.
